In April 2021, I had the opportunity to do an art residency at Prairieside Outpost in Matfield Green, Kansas. In a town of 50 people, I walked the Tallgrass Prairie every day. It is quiet there and full of life. I made these 18 diptychs during my time there. They are meant to be read together as they tell a story of contrasts, of wind, light, and land.
