COLLAGE
Originally trained as a photographer, I now work in collage. I use traditional and non-traditional raw materials, including fragments of old projects. I sort through and handle my materials to place them, bringing them into new relationships, chasing resolution. In exploring relationships among my materials, I find new ways to communicate ideas and feelings about subjects ranging from parenting to astrophysics, artistic collaboration to human trafficking, women's issues to the visual language of form. Underlying it all, there is discovery and communication of connection and finding meaning in the interstices.
